Covid Update from the St. Luke Executive Committee: According to the CDC, Lycoming County had crossed the threshold into “substantial transmission”. The CDC now recommends universal indoor masking in Lycoming County regardless of vaccination status, and as the St. Luke executive committee, we continue to recommend following the CDC guidelines. More information on the CDC recommendation for fully vaccinated people can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated.html.
We continue to gather for in person worship and encourage all who are able, to join us on Sunday mornings. Finally, we are committed to the needs of all members of our congregation, therefore virtual worship will continue until further notice.
BLANKET SUNDAY On display today in the Nave and the Chapel are some of the 107 quilts made this past year by the Sew Fine Quilters. These quilts will be distributed as follows:

SEW FINE QUITERS will meet this Monday, October 4th 9:00am-3:00pm. Come and go as your time provides. If possible, join us for lunch at 12noon. Lunch will be provided.
| CROP WALK Our community’s annual walk to fight hunger, is scheduled for next Sunday, October 10, 2021. Registration and Walk will begin at 1:00pm in front of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church (142 Market St, Williamsport). Please check the West Hall for the Crop Walk materials. You may contact Pastor Jeff or Sarah Young at the church office for more information. JOB OPENING St. Luke is seeking to fill the position of Financial Secretary. SHAWL MINISTRY We will meet Tuesday, October 19th at 9:30am in the Lounge.
HANBELLS Are you interested in playing handbells? Anyone is invited to join the handbell choir. No experience is necessary, but knowledge of music is helpful. All that is required is a desire to have fun, a willingness to make a joyful noise to the Lord and the ability to attend weekly rehearsals. Rehearsals will be held Thursday evenings at 6:30pm in the nave. If interested, please sign up on the sheet located in the West Hall. Rehearsals will start Oct. 28th.

CML invites you to be part of a fundraiser for camp that is sponsored by Lutheran Outdoor Ministries. You can

| FOOD DONATION UPDATE – St. Luke will be accepting food donations in the Bell Hall glass foyer area, across from the office entrance. Trish Whelan asks that you use this location, at this time. Look for the box marked “food donation”. Trish will still keep the church office updated with any new information from the pantry.
